SITE TERMS
Terms
These terms set the boundary between an unofficial fan reference and the game or services supplied by their respective owners.
Last updated: 2026-07-25
Unofficial fan resource
ScrapMech Wiki is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Axolot Games, Steam, or Valve.
Scrap Mechanic names, official descriptions, icons, art, and game data remain the property of their respective rights holders. Their use here is limited to identifying and explaining the game for players.
Reference data and tools
The site aims to match the current accepted game snapshot, but updates, platform differences, bugs, or unverified runtime behavior can cause a result to differ from play. A tool does not replace your own save backup or in-game verification.
Exact values appear only where current structured data or reproducible evidence supports them. Unknown drop rates, combat order, and redesigned raid rules may be omitted instead of estimated.
Acceptable use
- Do not interfere with site operation or security.
- Do not automate abusive request volumes.
- Do not present the site or its editorial work as an official Scrap Mechanic service.
- Respect the rights and terms attached to the game and linked external services.
Availability and changes
Features may change as Scrap Mechanic updates, evidence improves, or hosting requirements change. Material policy changes update the date on this page. Use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
TERMS EXPLAINER
How to use ScrapMech Wiki data and calculators responsibly
The database and calculators are reference tools built from a versioned evidence snapshot. They can support a game decision, guide, or personal plan, but they do not replace the live game, guarantee a runtime outcome, or transfer rights in official game content.
Versioned reference data can become outdated
Recipes, properties, progression, raids, quest states, blueprint formats, and localized text can change in a later release. Check the displayed game-data version when a decision depends on an exact quantity or rule.
A calculation is only as current as its inputs. A planner total can be mathematically correct for 1.0.0.867 and still need regeneration after the game changes one ingredient, output quantity, station rule, or unlock.
Exact calculations still have defined limits
The planner can calculate whole recipe batches, the blueprint analyzer can apply a released shape-count rule, and the raid calculator can derive values, budgets, probabilities, and ranges from published scripts.
Those tools do not guarantee travel time, power uptime, physical behavior, random group order, spawn position, pathfinding, mod compatibility, or an unobserved save state. Limitations shown beside a result are part of the result.
Official game content keeps its original ownership
Game names, localized text, icons, artwork, and underlying game data belong to their respective rights holders. ScrapMech Wiki is an unofficial fan resource and does not imply endorsement or affiliation with Axolot Games.
Site-authored explanations and interface organization do not grant permission to repackage official assets or misrepresent the service as an official product. Follow the applicable owner’s terms when using game content elsewhere.
Use the service without disrupting it or misleading others
Normal reading, searching, and personal planning are the intended uses. Automated activity should respect technical limits and must not interfere with availability, attempt unauthorized access, or use the site to distribute harmful content.
When citing a calculated answer, include the game version and relevant assumptions. Preserving the method and boundary helps another player distinguish a reproducible reference from a guaranteed live-game outcome.
